Chinese Orange Chicken

This orange chicken recipe is hands-down better than any Chinese takeout you can buy! Serve up something everyone in the family will love with this delicious and easy recipe, and serve atop white rice, alongside steamed or sauteed vegetables 🙂

Orange Chicken For The Whole Family

If you have kids, you probably understand the peril of dealing with a picky eater. In our home, our kids started out as miracle babies – they would eat anything! But then they grew up a bit, and around the age of 3 they each began to get picky – very picky. Currently, our daughter will love something one day and then she’ll say it’s disgusting the next. So, figuring out what to make for any meal can be a challenge.

But there’s one dish I make that she loved when she was a one year old, and it’s a meal she still loves years later – orange chicken. She loves the sticky, orangey sauce, so I’m always sure to give her just a bit more than everyone else (: If you have a picky eater in your home (or if you’re the picky eater), I encourage you to give this recipe a try.

What To Eat Orange Chicken With?

I personally eat orange chicken all on its own, but for those who want a bit more to go with it, here’s some amazing options:

  • Serve with fresh and fluffy white rice
  • With coconut rice – find my recipe here.
  • Alongside steamed or stir-fried vegetables
  • Stir fried rice – find my recipe here.
